And the winner is.....[drum rolls]......Me! huh?

For the first time (at least for this year), I entered a Giveaway contest organised by ParisB (not related to the Hilton's heiress) of MyWomenStuff.

And today, I received an email from Paris B....

Yeap, I am officially the winner of Ipanema - a Basic Bikini Wax from Apronbay!!!

Muahahahaha....giler excited ok!
For a minute I was smiling to myself until I saw the word 'wax'. Haha,ha-ha-ha (nervous laugh).

I don't know about you guys, but after quite a number of experience with waxing, I've never really gotten over how painful waxing can be till today. I remembered my first bikini wax and....*faints*

Just Curious: Burberry Lip Cover Soft Satin Lipstick

During my last visit to Burberry Beauty Counter @ Isetan, Suria KLCC, they provided me some sample of their lipsticks & foundation.

Before that here's what I've blogged recently...

Burberry Beauty Lip Cover Soft Satin Lipstick (RM 96.00)
Available in 21 shades ranging from pinks and browns

DETAILS
Discover supple and light colors that reflect the natural lip tones. Formulas are hydrating and give a full lip in tone, coverage and color fidelity.

Formula: Super-light 'second skin' texture provides intense moisture immediately after application. Combination of oils and light waxes helps easy application and extreme comfort.

Benefits: Pigments dispersed in a clear gelled structure ensure high color fidelity. Shiny polymers offer perfect luminosity. Balanced color palette from nude trench tones to Burberry reds.

Protection: Contains anti-aging ceramides for fuller lips. Guarantees continuous hydration. Contains UV filters to protect from damaging environmental exposure.

How to use: Apply like a normal lipstick or apply to your finger and push into the lip to give a more natural color. To enlarge the mouth, use a lighter lipstick in the middle of the mouth. To reduce the mouth, choose a darker shade.

Konon nak buat macam Rocker Chic, sumpah tak jadi T__T

My verdict - Yes, it IS moisturising like it promises, heck I don't even need to used my lip balm before

Q: Could you try the Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil & tell me what you think?

A good friend of mine who is a beauty lover herself gave me a jar of Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil which she bought recently and totally fell in love with it.

"If only they make these as shower gel so I can cleanse my body like my face. It's so effective and simple and I love it." Ms. I.E.Z

:D

So, today I did a little experiment myself....

Ok, I admit...I was a bit dramatic today...:P

Product Review: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil

Estee Lauder Spring 2011 Untamed Violet Collection

My take on the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil...

Good bye black eyeliner, goodbye liquid eyeliner...
Hello purple eyeliner!

Black is so boring this month so store off your jet black feline liners and embrace the world of color.
Because spring is all about fresh hues and color blocking.

My Makeup Haul of the Week 200311

This week's haul is from TheFaceShop - a Korean beauty manufacturer.
I was window-shopping (miserably failed) in Sunway Pyramid when I saw the big SALE sign in The Face Shop. I was browsing it's newly launched Sun Block when I saw that the makeup was on sale. To be honest, I've never fancied Korean and Taiwan beauty products as they do not go well with my skin.

But the instant I dab my fingers on The Face Shop's eyeshadow, I was hooked! Infact, I was surprised at how pigmented it was!

Prior to today, the only product I own from The Face Shop is a Coral blusher which was given to me as a present from my pal. The color range may not be as extensive as compared to MAC, Bobbi Brown etc. but they have a decent collection of shimmery pastels.

What I love the most about their shimmery e/s is the texture which is very fine and this means these colors will sit nicely on your eyelids all day long without you having to touch up by mid day. (Tried & tested *winks*)

My Stash from TheFaceShop :)
From left:
Lovely Meex Eyes BK905 (cream) Grey e/s,
Lovely Meex Eyes PP402 (shimmer) Light purple e/s,
Lovely Meex Eyes WH003 (shimmer) White e/s,
04 Jewel Effect Duo in Aquamarine and Skyblue e/s,
Illuminating Blusher

Pickup A Trend: Lady In Red

I'm sure by now you would've noticed how bright colors takes center stage this spring.
Secretly, I have been a huge fan of bright and bold colors; thanks to mum who truly believes that the Flower Power sensation will make a big come back soon. And I am all excited to experiment and play around bright, loud colors not only to my outfit but also my makeup.

Think Block colors, adorn clashing flourescent playful colors and dare yourslef to wear those vivid colors you've secretly stashed.

Electric blue, Shocking Pink, Sunny Yellow, Glaring Orange, Furious Magenta and Chilli Red.
So, this is the season to get loud and expressive....

In my previous entry of Latest Makeup Haul, I mentioned how I bought this gorgeous Red Lipstick by Revlon.

My Makeup Haul of the Week 110311

My haul of the week.....

Since time is very limited to me these days...I don't have much time to browse for goodies like I used to couple of weeks back. However, here's some stuff I managed to grab today at Watsons during my lunch break (the only time I'm free T_T) except for my MAC Opulash.

1) M.A.C Wonder Woman Collection Opulash in Army of Amazons
Retail Price: RM65.00
Got it for: RM65.00
What is: Green mascara that thickens and lengthens. Two coats should do the trick. Oh, look at the rich green color...heart it!

Remember to swatch the colors onto your skin to determine which red suits you most.
For me, I prefer a blue based red lipstick to compliment my skin (left most).
Yellow based red lipstick is not my color (center).

Makeup Tips: Cleaning Your Brushes 1,2,3

Hello...happy weekend!!

Yeay, thank God the weekend is here...at last, a well-deserving break after a week of hard work. *Sigh* Well, at least for me since this is the time of the year where my job is really driving me nuts~!

Anyway, since it's the weekend...it also means that it's the Laundry day (ugh!), house chores day (super ugh!) and not to forget - the wash-your-makeup brushes day!

Yes, I admit...it is NO fun to do and most of the time we get lazy, then we procrastinate and eventually totally forgotten about it. And yes, I'm guilty for being lazy too! T_T

However, let me stress how important it is to wash up you makeup brushes at least once a week or once in two weeks. So, no-no-no...don't you forget to wash up, ok (=.=). Cuz if you don't, bacterias and germs will probably start a village of their own on your brushes and yuck! you wouldn't want that, don't you??!!

So, start washing already!

What, you've never washed you brushes before??!!! *Gasp*
O....M....G!!!!!

Fret not, BBM (Beaute Blog by M.) is here to save your brushes!

M.A.C Wonder Woman Collection

Yes, it is no WONDER why M.A.C would choose WONDER WOMAN as their muse for the upcoming new collection. Look at her eyes, the sexy-pouty mouth and oh-to-die-for figure, not forgetting the thick and lush jet-black hair, Wonder Woman is the perfect woman we love to hate and hate to love. :P

For me, I'm not really a fan of WonderWoman, but I am definitely a fan of M.A.C!!! hehe. I stalk M.A.C outlets, especially the one in Sogo, cause they're friendly, helpful and the nearest to my house. (grins). And 99.99% of the time I go there, I'll end up buying something...*sigh*

From the MAC Wonder Woman collection, I am most excited about one of the products called...
